Little Baby To Big Baby:A Sweet Story To Share

A Huge WooHoo to Slinky Dog and Mickey! WOOHOO!!! These brothers are 5 weeks old this past Wednesday. They are a sweet pair and have a sweet story worth sharing.

As you might notice, Mickey is a big boy, and then there is Slinky Dog. He is much smaller and has just mastered using his back legs. He could not by any means keep up with Mickey, but he did not let this hold him back. He pulled himself around with his front legs and being a momma of course I started worrying because us girls can’t worry enough!!! LOL isn’t that right?! πŸ™‚

Then Slinky Dog began to skate with his back legs! YAY! This whole time Mickey slept with Slinky Dog. Checked on Slinky Dog. And, let Slinky Dog nurse right beside him and as he used his front paws to bring forth more milk, Slinky Dog began to mimic his brother.

They are quite the pair and my prayer is these 2 gentle pups find their new homes, whether together or apart, that may they never forget each other! Paws and Kisses :)Jen

Springtime on the farm=Magic

One cannot walk far on New O’Hana Farm without seeing the unfolding of Spring around every corner.

We have been blessed to have several planting areas and pots bursting with new growth and colors of Spring!

Praying you are enjoying this time of year and are finding areas to grow your happiness.

Psalm 1:3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields it’s fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither-whatever they do prospers.

Tilling Our Expanded Garden

Our 2 Helpers in the Garden tonight are our dogs Daisy and Oreo in the photo at the end of the gallery. Or should I say Our 5 Helpers. Daisy, our English Bulldog is pregnant with at least 3 puppies we saw on her ultrasound!!!)

Daisy and Oreo love to be with us every time we go outside. Daisy has quit charging the tractor that she must believe is a large grumbly beast trying to eat her momma! Now if we can get her to believe the motorcycle and lawn mower are not giant beasts to conquer, we have a complete victory!

I’m very much in love with our tractor and the color pink! For a moment I was laughing picturing my husband’s face when he opened the barn door and saw the tractor! Surprise!!! How do you think he would react if I paint her pink? πŸ™‚

We have expanded our garden in a BIG WAY! And we are very excited to get the dirt tilled several times before we begin to plant. This large area by the barn has been the stomping ground for our goat families that we had last year.

Spring has arrived and we work around the rainy days. Cross our fingers and toes, after April 15, we hope to begin planting vegetable and fruit seeds and show you our progress.

Our prayer for everyone is that spring is bringing the hope of new life and growth. It can be both plant and personal. Hope your spring is shaping up well!

Our English bulldog and her morning routine

Our English Bulldog, Daisy, Loves Her Beauty Sleep πŸ™‚ It takes a couple of times to get her out of her warm blankie!

  • Sleeping so good. (My photo I am on, is a rug not my nighttime bed) English Bulldogs do well on a well padded bed. I am spoiled with a Foam Bed Mattress.
  • Momma is in my Dreams trying to get me out of my warm blankie to go outside (Hee-Hee I do drag my paws on getting up)
  • Go outside quickly, and then sit by door patiently waiting for my Eggs and Pumpkin
  • Eat Breakfast without chewing! (I love my large metal Elevated Food and Water Bowl. But I still get food on the wall. Sorry Momma!) Our eggs are Scrambled or Sunny Side Up (Momma takes our pumpkins each year, slices them, rubs the inside with Olive Oil and Pink Himalayan Salt, Bakes them at 375 degrees until they are soft, then purees them in her Ninja
  • Back Outside to do a better job of patrolling our farm, New O’Hana Farm, TN and chasing those squirrels back up their tree
  • Bible Study and Prayer-Momma picked the Bible Verse NIV New International Version Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” Our prayer is sweet, thanking the Lord for His blessings, our family and friends, and that we will tell others about Him and to pray, asking Him in to their hearts.
  • Squeaky toy time!! Kong Toys and Our favorite Football the Nerf Dog
  • Nap time-WHENEVER I WANT!!!!
  • A great start to January 5, 2022. Thankful for this day the Lord has given us!

Daisy! Looking pretty exploring our farm.

Daisy:After making the rounds with sissy, us pups head in for scrambled eggs and pumpkin. (After Momma wipes my wrinkly face, our paws and my bum) Momma reads bible verses out loud to us, then prays for the whole family and our friends. We head back out to patrol our grounds. No squirrels allowed is our rule, and they must be chased up a tree. Then I race around the house with the noisiest squeaky toy I have till for some reason Momma puts it up on her desk while she writes.

Pandora Joyful Piano is playing and I am sitting up trying not to fall asleep πŸ™‚ Have a beautiful January 5, 2022! Paws and Kisses, Daisy the English Bulldog

Blessings From Above

This year, 2020, has seen blessings from above each day. New O’Hana Farm has been healing ground to explore and grow in the Lord. My daily bible verse arrives at 5:15 a.m. with a soft ding from my phone. I can’t wait to get up, let the pups out, and see what verse is waiting to be read. With a thankful heart, I pray to the Lord through the good days and the bad, through the night, and day. I have been doing this since I was a little girl. When I was about 6 years old, I prayed that the Lord would come in to my heart, save me, and take away my sins. My prayer continued, thanking Jesus for dying on the cross, taking on our sins, arising from the dead, and preparing Heaven for us. My life is not perfect, and I have not always been a good example, but I pray to follow His path, and get up and try again. I always pray for ways to share the simple prayer I prayed when I was so young. I am not shy to ask Him for what I want, and that is that all of my family and friends will ask Him in to their hearts, and that we will all spend eternity together. No matter what age, or what you have done, the Lord wants to be your Savior, being in your life, daily path, and prayers. He made me, you, and wants to have a relationship with us. I feel so blessed to have the Lord’s continual love and that I can pray anywhere, anytime. John 3:16 Have a beautiful and blessed day! :)Jen
