The Beautiful New Orleans

OH MY GOSH Y’ALL!!! This trip with our oldest daughter and her husband was THE ABSOLUTE BEST TIME we have ever had in New Orleans! This was their first time!! James had never (In his Whole Life) been out of our lovely Tennessee except a short nice trip to Atlanta! We had to show him Palm Trees!! Plus who doesn’t want to see a Giant Can of Folgers Coffee, local artwork, a whole lot of Zatarain’s Rice, and start the night out at a couple of restaurants as we laughed and talked , eating and drinking a bit plus exploring!

We enjoyed us a Bloody Mary at Daisy Dukes Cafe! Nightlife is fun because everyone’s dancing and eating with family and friends! The buildings are lit up beautifully and the feeling walking among all the history and stories just sends my mind in a million directions!

Daytime we were up early exploring! Do NOT let other people who have visited New Orleans and have nasty attitudes decide whether or not you visit! The food is amazing and the people are happy and friendly and the rich history is in each and every step you take. It is all around you and you have to get out there and find it for yourself!!!!!

We were there right before Mardi Gras 2023 but there was so many Awesome Parades that we got to enjoy! They threw out Amazing gifts and great beads! The roads that were blocked off made for adjusting the day we drove the truck out to the swamp to see nature and go to New Orleans City Park. New Orleans City Park is where we chose to get the famous Beignet! Always and I mean ALWAYS Delicious :)’
