Drama Secrets Fleeing in The Night

Genesis 31:27

Why did you run off secretly and deceive me? Why didn’t you tell me so I could send you away with joy and singing to the music of timbrels and harps?

First time reading in the Old Testament to see this beautiful word Joy, but I feel Laban is not a man of joy and would not send them away with singing and music. If you have not read the first book of the bible Genesis, then please start at chapter one and read all the rich words of God’s love and man’s betrayal all about. When you read about Jacob, Leah, Rachel and Laban you will get caught up in all the love and deception and find you can’t wait to see what happens at the end!
