Fight My Battles
ISAIAH 43:2

Left Photo is snake yesterday and the other is a few months ago. Amazing How They Flatten Down and Get IN!
My Heavenly Father knows I am not brave when I see a snake. My legs go to jello and my heart nearly beats out of my chest! I will not lie and say I am brave, but I have tried to fight against my fear. It is nice and warm here in beautiful Watertown, Tennessee. I wanted to help begin the process of cleaning up the yard of the million tree limbs and gazillion leaves from last fall.
Chronic Costochondritis is always nagging me when I bend down to pick anything up, walk, exercise vacuum, sweep, mop and the list goes on each day. My prayer was “Lord give me strength to accomplish a few hours of yard work and not feel any pain.
Not eating breakfast and working up to lunch, the pups and I headed to the door to our reading room and lowest room in our home. Opening the door, there was a foot long snake. Sending prayers up, I asked the Lord for even more strength to get the snake to go back out the door. Frustration and anger began to build up and I told the Lord I need Him always. There is not a moment I don’t want Him by my side. I want Him to guide me and I follow. I want Him to fight my fears and battles.
Looking up Isaiah 43:2 I read~When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
Whatever is happening in my life~Whoever I am with daily~Wherever I am going each day, all day long~When I am sleeping~When I awake I pray my Heavenly Father to help me through each and every situation. Amen.
