Don’t Get Ahead Of The Lord

Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; Wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of the heart.

I pray daily and nightly to always stay on the path the Lord has designed and prepared for me. Straying from His path has happened and He helps me back from where I have wandered. There are many times I have been impatient and try to get ahead of the Lord and get quite lost. This may not make sense to someone if they do not have daily prayer and bible reading with Him. I talk to Him and tell not only my fears, but what I look forward to and what I want in my life. My prayers are not just about myself, they are always including my family and friends and I pray all the time for their guidance and salvation.

1 Corinthians 4:5 to me means that the Lord is All-Powerful and All-Knowing. What is hidden to the left and right of my path is there, but I am looking straight ahead to Him. I don’t want to stray, lag behind or get lost! I want to enjoy my life to the fullest and be JOYFUL!! He knows my fears and desires because He made me! He knows my heart.

Have a wonderful joyful day! From all of us here in beautiful Watertown, Tennessee on New O’Hana Farm, TN :)Jen

A beautiful post. One that I needed today. Thank you. Iā€™m impatient but becoming more patient as I get older, and perhaps, wiser.

    1. I’m so glad Andi šŸ™‚ Every morning I have been praying to let Him lead me instead of rushing ahead of Him with no plan. I am impatient too! As well as curious and wanting to do everything on my own! LOL Have a beautiful day! :)Jen
