~3 John 3:4~ KJV~

Monday’s Bible Verse

Third book of John of the bible in the New Testament. Written to Gaius a faithful member of the church who provided a place to stay for the Lord’s traveling servants.

3 John 3:4 King James Version I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.

I am thankful to have daily devotions or bible study whichever you want to call it, with my husband and my mom each day! What great fellowship we enjoy together! We always had bible study with our children after supper every night. We miss these precious times with our children but we love that they have asked the Lord in to their hearts and can raise their children in reading the same bible stories we read together with them!

Monday through Friday my husband gets to work and gets situated, looking up the daily bible verse from Bible.com He calls me and he reads the verse out loud, then reads the whole chapter to give us a clearer idea to what this verse means.

My mom and I are reading a chapter or two each day, Monday through Friday. We started in Deuteronomy in the Old Testament. We are in the first book of Samuel reading about King Saul and his son Jonathan.

There are many powerful stories in the Bible that give a clear view of what is right and what is wrong, the Lord’s strength and mercy and His love and discipline.

After we finish reading and discussing the verses, we finish with prayer. Prayer is wonderful because we can pray to the Lord about anything we want. We have a Prayer List in our kitchen and pray for those who are sick, hurting, and in need. We always thank the Lord for His continual blessings and that we are grateful and want to be a blessing for Him. Prayer is Powerful and the Lord is All Powerful. Amen!

Have a wonderful week from all of us here in Watertown, Tennessee on New O’Hana Farm, TN
